Jenny, owner of The Hangout, is an American Council on Exercise certified personal trainer, group fitness instructor and health coach. Through ACE, she also holds credentials in youth fitness and senior fitness. With a degree in middle grades education and another in exercise science, she uses her knowledge to both help adults and children achieve health and fitness goals. She loves teaching fitness classes but also running in Spartan races. As a certified Spartan Coach, she enjoys training people for obstacle course races and DEKA events. She has a passion to see people of all ages accomplish things they never thought they could do!
LeAnn is a native to Crossville and still calls it home. She and her husband have two children, 9 and 10. They enjoy hiking, swimming, sports and basically anything outdoors that allows them to enjoy nature and it's beauty. She has been interested in health and fitness since she was a teen and has been active ever since. She became a member at the CMC Wellness Complex in 2015, where she later became a class instructor after earning a certification in Primary Group Fitness from Athletics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) in 2017. Since then, she has continued to study different aspects of health and fitness with AFAA and AAAI (American Aerobics Association International) by specializing in Indoor Cycling, Aqua Aerobics, Resistance Training, Holistic Health & Life Coaching, and Stress Management. She has been leading classes at The Hangout since June 2021 and is happy to be part of this amazing gym. She is always excited to help others on their fitness journey and she wants to help you get/stay strong and healthy for your best quality of life. Movement is a blessing! She wants you to make every move count and remember that the body achieves what the mind believes!
Sharon is a blessed wife and mother of 2 beautiful children. She joined The Hangout gym, 3 months after giving birth to her youngest. She feels that The Hangout gym is filled with so many encouraging people and it has become her home! The things that got her hooked when she joined were the atmosphere, the structure of the classes and just how accomplished she felt once she was done. She has experience in training in small group classes, and she truly enjoys helping others meet their goals and fitness needs! She earned her level 1 CrossFit Trainer certification and is excellent at teaching proper form and techniques. She wants to make everyone feel as accomplished as she felt when she joined. She looks forward to seeing you in class!
Macye is a fitness enthusiast who loves to mix and match all kinds of workouts together to keep things fresh and exciting! She has been teaching group fitness classes for about 2 years and her favorite thing about it is connecting with people on a personal level, assisting them in achieving their goals and helping them get the most out of their workouts! Macye also earned her Level 1 CrossFit coach certification.
Whit is a natural yoga instructor. She teaches in a soothing tone and coaches her participants in a flowing, easy to follow manner. Her calming spirit sets the tone for a yoga session that leaves you feeling relaxed and recovered. She is knowledgeable in this field of fitness with years of experience.

Kaytee took on her own body transformation before becoming certified to help others achieve their goals. She has a passion for powerlifting, bodybuilding and functional fitness. Her goal is for her clients to build lifelong habits and find themselves through fitness. Whatever your fitness needs, she aspires to inspire you to get there!
